Okayyyyyyyyyy, now we're getting somewhere. So, I talked to Larry Sr. at APE and he said it was a bearing in the waterpump wheel that was making the wheel wobble and hit the main crankshaft pulley. So, now the question is, do I just replace the bearing or the whole waterpump?

Thanks guys!

Thanks Ted, I was afraid of that, but might as well. The timing belt was just done too! Grrrrrr.

Your milano hasn't sold yet?!?! Wow, people don't know what they're missing!

Is there a better price than IAP? http://www.international-auto.com/in...9&posid=852394

Cheers,

And you have to show folks that we youngsters can actually do auto mechanikin. Heck, I've already learnt something and I'm not even 50 yet!

Put out with the car photos, man. Or I'll give your name and license plate number to my friends on the Pleasanton P.D. Darn, I wish I had a camera. I'm going to have to fix that. My kids dropped the one we did have once too often.

Okay, so far, I have:

>Re-timed the car's timing.
>Installed a new waterpump and gaskets.
>All new tubes going to and from water pump.
>Broke rear plastic timing cover, lol
>Adjusted the tensioner
>drained the coolant and refilled
>New radiator hoses
>New A/C-Altenator-Water pump Belt.
>Disconnected the heater core and corrected any coolant leaks.
>New battery

The list goes on and on. I've had the intake manifold off, as well as the valve covers. The next time they come off is when they go to the powdercoating shop.

TO DO LIST:
>Bodywork
- Around both areas of the trunk hinges
- Replacement of front, Driver's side body panel.
>New/used passneger's side fog light
>Euro lights
>Powdercoating Valve covers and intake (Red or Black with silver or red alfa romeo sign?)
>New front badge(mine is missing)
>Mesh in the triangle grill.
>Aftermarked wheels.
>Sport suspension
>Upgraded speakers and amps
>Fix rear passenger window(Doesn't go up/down)
>Passenger's side wiper doesn't really work
>Passenger's side light/lens squirter
>Stiffer sway bars
>Performance chip
>K & N filter or K & N cone kit
>New vacuum lines...I hope Greg Gordon comes up with a 164 one soon!!!
>New lug bolts(mine are rusty)
>Power mirrors don't work
>Check engine light on intermittenly
>New heater core
>Stepper motor with improved gears.

That's all I can think of for now.

Cheers guys!

I just noticed the front license plate. Is it drilled straight into the spoiler or do you have the riveted-in brackets holding it on?

Its actually kind of rigged on there with wire. Nothing is drilled. We have to have front license plates in case we run red lights, then they can send their $351 fines to your door with pictures...If you dont have a front license plate, you can run all the red lights you want...

I've never had a front license plate on any of my cars. Only time it was ever mentioned by a cop was right after I had rear-ended a pickup truck at 65mph (not my fault, according to investigators) in my perfectly restored BMW 2002. The conversation:

Officer (walking up, first thing he says): "you know, you have to have a front license plate in this state"
Me (looking as one of my hubcaps is getting run over in the middle of highway 17, sitting on a totally crumpled front end): "gee, I'll get right on that"
