maserati 430 anyone

i was searching through autotrader and found a maserati 430 biturbo fuel injected 6 cylinder 4 door sedan

ad says 60k miles and price is 5k year is 1990

i know these cars are known for electrical issues and expensive repairs, but what else???

it seems to be really cheap for the milage and what comes with the car

From the research ive done, the later biturbos have much better build and reliability, if im not mistaken the 430 has the 2.8V6 which is supposed to be a very robust engine. They require alfa like maintenance but parts are obviously more expensive and more sparse, just get a biturbo pro to chek it out.

ok i have done some research online, and found only 2 good reviews about the 430, then i did some more research and found lots of problems on biturbos, but there repeatedly talk about the earlier models before 87, this car is a 90, dose anyone know a forum or any info on these cars??

the fuse box, front bearings, and a oil and water mix have been resolved in the later models, biturbos after 87. any info on an 1989 to 1990 model will be helpful thanks

I have an 87 Biturbo Spyder since new. No complaints at all. Do a search on this forum and you'll find some pics. You can also try the Ferrarichat.com forum as they have a Maserati section where you will find some info on the Biturbo's. Good Luck!
