guten abend hubert,
ja, ist zwar harte arbeit, aber macht richtig spass.
du kennst das nur zu gut ;-)
abgesehen vom enormen aufwand den du im detail treibst, der aufwand mit deinen fräsarbeiten ist schon sehr heftig und wirklich vom aller feinsten. ist auch für mich eine motivation ;-)

gasoline in the blood is prerequisite. even as a child I was faced with oldtimer.
already 14 years i have started to restore my first motorcycle from 1936.
working 10 years at mercedes service and restoration department.
further at special company for special construction vehicles. even at mercedes experimental department build protypes .
various international training for body handmade.

Gorgeous work, Berhnard. I noticed you were also working on a Sebring in an earlier photo. I owned one for several years and found it to be a lovely car to drive and own, very reliable. For over a year it was my daily driver! What I remember most about it, aside from the wonderful Maser 6 cyl. sound, was the fit and finish of Vignale's work. Out of curiosity, how did the Touring body structure differ from Vignale's?

Hello,
the blue Maserati 3500 Vignale Spider is finish after a very hard Way.
Near 3000 Hours for Restoration.
Absolut Show-Finish.
Half Car new Build.
So much Rusty and missing Parts before Restoration.

I wonder how much of the original body remains in the finished product. I have seen a number of cars that had less than fifty percent of the original body left after restoration. This restoration is very good.
