The one just below it may well be a bargain for someone as well
next one down
even if it is mis-described as a sport.

Very nice Fulvia Sport--one of the 'holdover' S2 bodies which still have the aluminum doors and (side-hinging) hood. And it doesn't look like a project at all; a few minor cosmetic issues, but very clean and straight.
And I sent a message to the other seller to let him know that his "Sport" is a Coupé...
Good day, though; two new chassis for the database.

This looks like an honestly presented Fulvia Z that will make somebody a great driver. I think it is commendable that the owner is forthright in describing the car's faults and provides us with good photos of the car's critical areas. This is definitely a car worth making a serious bid on.
One of the more annoying things about Ebay cars (and, really, all cars sold on-line) is the intentionally opaque descriptions and photographs. Do sellers really think such obvious BS is going to help sell their cars?
Although I'd still want to go look at it before money changed hands, this Fulvia looks like the real thing.

It seems a nice car indeed- and I had mine out yesterday to remind myself how great they are. My only cavil is that I really *do* like to have the bumpers- they are a part of the design IMHO.
And- whether on eBay, Craigslist, a dealer, auction or driveway, anyone who buys a car without an inspection gets exactly what they deserve, regardless of the seller's descriptions!

Wait a minute. Didn't you start this thread a couple months ago on an S1 Coupé in Seattle? http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/othe...llye-ebay.html

It's a little difficult to describe how good they are to drive. On paper, they shouldn't work very well at all: leaf springs front & rear, live rear axle, worm & sector steering. And, of course, everyone knows that all FWD cars understeer like crazy. Except none of those generalizations apply to these cars; the build quality is exceptional, and the engineering simply transcends the limitations of the specs. Assuming they're in good shape, the handling is completely neutral and utterly viceless, the steering is pin-sharp with no torque steer at all, and the ride is beautifully controlled. The 1.2 and 1.3 engines are very smooth and love to rev, but they're not blindingly quick off the line. In fact, an early all-steel 1.2 Coupé, like Adan's gray one, will seem underpowered. But the 1.3s can easily keep up with larger displacement cars, especially on twisting roads.
