Fiat Brava v6 turbo

I was trolling the internet and came across this, I have a 96 bravo that has a couple issues, got an oil light that comes on cornering, havent had time to pull the sump and look at the bearings etc, Its been getting worse lately to. I also have a 24 valve 3ltr sitting there, and because they are all a ver similar platform, brava, 155 etc i wondered if anyone had actually put an alfa v6 into one. Heres some pics of a brava with a alfa GTV v6 turbo in it. Well thats what he said it come from, and the front struts and brakes. Not a fan of the bling doors but still pretty cool. Im going to look into a 6 speed 156 box and see what sort of coins it will set me back to do. Im thinking i shouldn't have any free time, lol

Thinking out loud...

It's a 12V with 164 style runners yet doesn't look anything like a 164 motor. (based on the cam covers)

There was a factory 2.0 turbo V6 fitted to the 164 in Europe so it's possible the engine is physically smaller to our 2.5/3.0 motors. Does the Russian man say what size his motor is?

You should put that 24V in your 75!!

Scott

The two-litre V6 is exactly the sime size as the other ones, the extra plumbing needed would make it take up even more space...

Brilliant idea for me! And don't ask me, I have no clue why I like it so much. Only the whole styling is completly not my cup of tee. Where you found it? On drive2.ru? Or somwhere else?

It is Busso V6 with no doubts. Engine is from GTV 2.0 TB and is physically exactly the same as 2.5/3.0 12v engines. It is GTV 2.0 TB rocker cover without top cover (like on the attached pic).
