Evolution vs Intelligent Design
With a growing number of VERY off-topic and even off-color threads which question conventional science, logic, education and even common-sense using fallacious arguments, I thought it might be high time to question some other "accepted concepts".

No accident! Allesandra evolved into what she is so I could enjoy her!

Intelligent Argument certainly seems increasingly elusive.

Alex
I've often thought that an example of "Artificial Intelligence" is when they take someone from academe or business to be Chairman of The Federal Reserve System, or as Secretary of the Treasury and attribute to them almost godlike abilities.
Or maybe it is an example of a secular religion?

Alex, what kind of point are you trying to make by starting all of these political threads?

Ohhhhh, I dunno...how come I get asked that question?!!?! Would you ask the same question of the "DOCTOR" who started the inane Illegal Immigrant thread or the equally fallacious Al Gore Global Warming Thread!?!?!? No, of course you didn't. You're only asking me because I am a left-leaning liberal socialist Dem-supporting brain-washed guy who listens to NPR, reads valid news sources and believes in paying attention to science, proven arguments and verified scholars with accredited educations.
Oh, sorry...I'm in a bad mood today.

Ah yes--caring and compassionate government.
By liberal definition, I am a political moron, which applies to anyone who doesn't think like a liberal.
Trouble is--liberals don't think, they feel.
Actually, I am(to coin a phrase) a neo-nineteenth century liberal, and proud of it.

Woohohohohooo! Actually, I wouldn't normally ask someone why they start a thread, but I believe you went a little overboard. There's starting one debatable thread and then there's starting three or more! Your threads didn't really contain any information or prompt except for "what do you think about such and such". Now if he started multiple threads with similar wordings and different topics, yes I would ask him that same question.
This just doesn't seem like a practical use of bandwidth even though its in the off-topic section. It seems more like a hostile FU to anyone who dares to reply...either that or a dual to the death...

off the spirit of this thread

Wow even my most liberal friends would not make this statement even though they probably don't agree with most of what you say.

Now this comment is not in the spirit of this funny thread. I think you should park the judgemental name calling.
I have liberal friends that have accomplished great things from building up high tech companies to winning race championships and they are very smart if not brilliant and have no trouble deciding with their brain. Oh you mean if they don't agree with you then they are not thinking. Again Subtle it would be better if you park the name calling. I am conservative on some issues moderate on others and yes liberal on some. I don't suspend my thought processes on the issues I take a liberal position and am offended you would imply that.

Ok I am a True Conservative as opposed to a neocon and proud of it.
Now lets get back to being funny.
