Ahh, our Ambassador of Good Will.

While I don't get the pleasure of those beautiful tree-lined lanes Alex the Boot enjoys, being here will make surviving the winter a little easier.

This is where I lived before moving to Oregon, looking up the beach towards Pipeline on the North Shore of Oahu. Having a nice car is worthless. Traffic is hell, and the 55MPH limit vigorously enforced in the few places where you could actually drive that fast. Nice place to work but I wouldn't want to live here.

For one thing, it's hard to fit a surfboard rack on a spider, and just jamming the board in behind the seats simply ruins the aerodynamics...

My 17 Gordini was a lot more fun than the Le Car. Can we stick to the point here? This is the RenaultBB isn't it?

Changing the Subject within the Thread

Are you still hiding? I have no idea how this quote appeared in my box when I pushed post reply....bb gremlins I guess. Speaking of gremlins, they go right along with these other "ugly" cars that have been posted lately. Did this thread suddenly change to the "ugly" car thread?

Where's Evelyn's son and or daughter? How is her kingdom surviving with her untimely and unfortunate demise?

Not to change the subject AGAIN, BUT how did Dexter (DS), MI. get its name from being on opposite side of the road from the left side (SN)? Going in which direction, north?

I wonder how did those "going south" and "sinister" things get started away? OK, sorry I know only one tangent allowed at a time on this thread.

And here I thought DS and SN only applied to my Alfa Parts Catalog.

Sinister & dexter and this doesn't even get into the whole other area of sitting on the right hand side of things.

So if I am not sitting on the right side of my LHD Alfa is that why I am sometimes in my right mind? I do not do well if not in the driver's seat. Anybody else have that problem? Anybody else have a teenage driver in the family?
