Mozilla firefox and images
My preference is to use Mozilla Firefox as a browser. Using it I can not view images on this board although I can on similar boards. To view images I have to switch back to Bill Gates product. Do I have to? Is it my problem or the boards that Firefox won't display images?

I use FireFox without any problems. Make sure you are logged onto the AlfaBB and let FireFox remember the password, as I beleive you have to be logged-on the view images in the threads. The reason it works with Bill's product, is that there is probably a cookie saved with your credentials.

I am logged in. I can't post without it. But even logged in I can not see images. Is there something else I need to do?

Think I might have solved it. Firefox blocked image feature is real useful for blocking unwanted screen filling trash. alfbb does not fit that category but sometime in the past I added it to the list.

Glad you solved the problem. Using Firefox 3.x with Adblock Plus has completely cured my of using IE7 on WinXP (except for compatibility tests).

I use Firefox as stated above also without problem as far as images loading. l also use IEView for sites that are too clunky in Firefox, it automatically shuts your Firefox tab that it was loaded on and opens the site in IE. Microsoft exchanges do not work well with Firefox.
I prefer the Firefox 2. version to 3., although it is no longer supported. There are features I like about 3., but others that I don't and it also messes with my alternate software configurations and doesn't run as smoothly.

My son uses Firebox and while he likes it, it drives me crazy. Everytime I do a clean-up, it finds about 300 corrupt items from firebox.

I've never had any corrupted files or issues with Firefox 2.0 and 3.0 under XP.
(Disclaimer: I'm using the Adblock Plus plugin to block pop-up, pop-under and other unwanted advertising).

The same here as far as Firefox Version and disclaimer. I also use IE View for things that Firefox can't load properly.

More of the same. I had a suggest Firefox and Adblocker, and things work faster with no problems opening any images. Also, viewing the Speed website is much faster now that the proliferation of ads and videos are blocked.

Mozilla Firefox / Add-ins
Is anyone using www . freestockcharts . com with the downloaded Microsoft Silverlight software successfully within Firefox? I can download the software but the Firefox automatic menu can't find the needed plug-in and I don't know what plug-in I'm looking for exactly, manually. Anyone know?
For now I've set it to IE View, but it appears I'm going to have to redownload the software through IE to try and make it work....
Suggestions, clues???
Thanks.
