Fred,
Suggest the breakfast be a bit later than 8:00 AM. Cars are not allowed on the field untill 11:15 AM. The field is part of the grounds of a church, and there is a request not to disturb the service which ends at 11:00 AM.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. I'll post the breakfast time when I find out. Thanks Bob.

Bob,
How'd it go? Some nice iron (and aluminum) was presented on the field. Bob's immaculate '59 Sprint (my favorite) and Spyder were there along with some C type and E type Jags, a Bentley, and one of my all time favorites - a Triumph Herald I'm still trying to figure out the European significance of the Indian motorcycles there but it was still nice seeing them.

Fred,
The show went really well. The Peoples Choice Trophies were awarded at 3:30 PM, with my '62 Spider taking second place and that beautiful '72 maroon Dino third. There is going to be some controversy concerning the car that took first place. It was the Ford GT 40 replica recently built in South Africa, neither European nor built prior to 1975. I'm not sure how the car even got in the event, it was not on the final registration list. We'll have to be more strict next year, but that's the problem with people's choice voting.
At 4:00 PM there was an 8 mile parade of the cars through the Three Village area. The Suffolk County Police provided five patrol cars and they were great at blocking off intersections. The only problem was that one of the patrol cars led the parade at a speed of about ten miles per hour, with the result that a V12 Jaguar and a Porsche overheated.
