Need referral for garage or street mech. UWS Battery swap daughter's non Alfa

AAA tech says the battery in my daughter's Volvo S70 has "exploded". Naturally they want to tow, store, then sell & install a new battery. Pretty much making a project out of a 15 minute job. Compounding the problem is the car needs to be out of it's parking space by 8:30 Monday AM. The car's location is 108th st between Amsterdam and Columbus.
Can anyone suggest a nearby garage or curbside mechanic to sell and install a new battery early Monday morning?

The only shop I trust uptown there in NYC is Joe Pon( A&A Imports)owner. His shop is on 307 East 92st, between 2nd Ave and 1st. Super nice and very honest. Tell him 'Steve' from Cooper Classics sent you.

Do not trust a 'curbside mechanic'.

Can't help with a shop but I'd have the charging system checked as well. Batteries need a reason to explode.

Steve,

Thanks for the lead to A& A Imports. At the moment I've made a tentative arrangement with a sympathetic nearby parking garage guy to install a battery Monday A.M. If thing go awry A&A will get the call.

Papajam, That's my thinking too. My daughter didn't notice anything visibly wrong with the battery. It is at least 5 yrs old. The car's original battery shorted out after 5 yrs, my Tundra's after 6 months. I think I'll have her email a battery photo to me, and have the charging system tested in any case. Thanks and Buona pasqua
