Seattle area bumper repair

I'm looking a shop in the Seattle area that might be able to straighten the stainless steel bumper from my 73 GTV (or tell me it can't be done). Any recommendations?

I have used a place in S. Seattle called Art Brass Plating. They are very good, and very expensive.

I used a place called Show Quality to polish the bumpers for my '69, and they also removed some dents and straightened it.

They weren't cheap, but they are good and apparently do a lot of work for the LeMay Museum.

They are right at the north end of Boeing Field in Georgetown.

gvisc.,

Any luck on getting your bumper straightened? I need the same kind of work on my '73 GTV.

In the same vein, any places around here who can take off the rust and re-chrome a TI bumper? Suggestions?

Damian-
If it's the same as a Super, I think it's stainless, which would mean that the rust is on the surface and can be buffed off and polished. I have some stuff to try it. We use Show Quality, CB Finishing for the polishing we farm out. We do the smaller, less critical jobs in-house.

Some of the early front bumpers were chromed. I have a somewhat bent one in my basement. (Damian, if you want a core, its yours) Also, when mounted, it sits about an inch higher in relation to the front grille. Outboard of the overriders the bumper dips to clear the parking lights. It is a subtle difference.

73veloce -

I still haven't dealt with mine ; I took it off and don't mind the look without it. Also, fixing the bumper keeps slipping lower down the list of 'things that need attention'...
