Question Powder Coating in the great NW

Tried this on the Spider forum w/ no response. I would like to have a rollbar coated (after crosspiece welding). Any suggestions for shops to do either treatment? I figger there's more shops in the Seattle area to do this than anywhere else in the greater NW.
Thanks.
Patiently awaiting rollbar installation in my Spider to give me a "more rigid driving tool".

You might try contacting these guys, they build chassis of all types, and I'm sure they would have local source for powder coating:

I needed coating for my exhaust manifolds. I looked into the jet-hot place, and they quoted me over $200 (included shiping and the extra cost for the finish that I wanted). So I took them to Puget Sound Coatings in Southpark (they quoted me $75). They don't do powdercoating, but they do "metalizing", so I'm giving that a shot. I'm supposed to get them back tomorrow, I'll post pictures when I do. I've used them before for blasting a metal base for a table I made, and they were pretty cool. They might even have a suggestion about where you could get powder coating done, if you are set on it.

Go to the Powder Coating dot org site, http://www.powdercoating.org and see what you can find in your area.

Gordy,
What did you find out? I am interested in having a set of brake calipers power coated and am looking for a vendor. I found this place in Auburn: http://www.americanpowdercoat.com

Wonder if they do ceramic coating locally for the exhausts - nice work in SA for 300 bucks, but I have some loacal headers that need to be done too... My SA headers from Glenwood get coated inside and out with ceramic heat-barrier and heat whatever else...

Some outfit in Arizona's "Powerkote" franchise...
