164S Newbie in S. King County

I generally do the majority of the wrenching on my cars but I have a coolant leak problem and I'm pretty short on time right now. Any shop recommendations?

Thanks for the link to Wes Ingram, although gen'l repair service is what I'm looking for. Re: Ralli-Round, they certainly seem to be in business (unless you know something I don't).

Yeah Ralli-Round is still in business. Ben Howe owns it now. Ben worked for Keith on Alfas when he was in highschool. Now many years later he owns the place. At first I was a little hesitant but hes a great mechanic himself. Hes extremely smart and real. If you don't like hearing the truth you may not like what he has to say but in every case I've dealt with him he's been dead on and fair. A few months back Ben stayed up til midnight on a Sunday with me fitting headlight covers so I could get my car to Queen City for some body work. Name another mechanic that would do that. (Well maybe the Group2 guys, they seem real cool). Nevertheless Ben probably spent 8 hrs fabricating and drilling etc.. and charged me maybe half. He built Keith's (the previous owner) superfast GTV and his hotrodded Spider. He'll work on a Ferrari or an 82 Honda. as long as hes around to do the work I love Ralli-Round.

I had heard that Keith sold it (again) and that the focus had changed from Alfa to Japanese tuner. Anyway, I'm happy with Wes and Group 2 for my GTV.

Ciao,

I've never seen a tuner in the shop. Ben's a certified Totota tech but the shop is probably 90% Alfa. Last time I was in there were about 7 164's, a couple nice GTV's, a Ferrari, probably 10 Spiders, a Milano and a Lexus. I just moved about a block away from Group2 and they were very nice when I rode by. Lots of Alfas there too.
