DMShuman Here are some images of Chris's work space and projects. I had my first duetto for 30 years. I sold it because I moved from Washington, DC to Ithaca NY. After moving,I tried lots of so-call Alfa mechanics with disastrous results. One year after I found out about Chris, I bought another 69 spider because you never forget your first love..

Note: I used Milano Motors in Kensington, MD for 15 years. He is also on this list. Julio rebuilt my 1750 engine and address any and all issues while I lived in the DC area. If Chris had been on this map when I still had my first car I would never have sold it.

Chris is a member of the AlfaBB (Chris D). He races vintage Alfas up and down the east cost and helps other race teams as a member of their pit crew.

I am including an image of my new sweetheart.

Alfiat If you'd like Chris to be shown on the Alfa shop map I need an address.

DMShuman If you live in the southern tier /western NY area and like me, been looking for a mechanic to restore or work on your classic Alfa. Than look no further. I found Chris De Minco who lives near Rochester, NY (Rush). He has an extensive knowledge of all types of classic Alfas. I just purchase a 69 Alfa that was not running correctly and also had rusted floors. I gave him a two page list of problems needing to be address. He was able to fixed rusted floors, all electrical issues and shorts. Also, correctly configure the Webber carbs (note: The carburation issues could not be address by three other mechanics costing me time and money), and minor engine repairs. Send me a PM and I will provide you with a phone number. You will be smiling like me when you get your car back. Now bring on the spring.

archeologist They aren't all mechanics, but if you need an Alfisti to check out a car for you or conduct a pre-purchase inspection, we have Alifisti all over the country signed up to help out.

Pre-Purchase Inspections by Knowledgeable Car Enthusiasts - Jewel or Jalopy

I hope this helps someone.

Huggy Entry on Sticky Mechanics Map

I may have to visit my son in Springfield, OH. Just found these guys on the internet. Their web site says they work on Alfa's including FI. They do just about everything.

Their web site is: The Auto Shop :: Auto Repair Shop Serving Plano, Allen, Richardson, Mckinney, and Surrounding Areas located in East Plano, Ohio. They are located off Route 35 between Dayton and Chillicothe.

Cross-Country Trip in Duetto

It would appear that way, wouldn't it? : )

But that happens to be the most direct route home from Seattle. Except for the fact that we want to go through Yellowstone and see Mount Rushmore. Otherwise we'd be even farther away from any known Alfa wrenches. ; )
