sfbayalfa I Just opened a shop in Northern California, I'm happy to help out local and non local Alfa's! I love all the Italian marques. I don't have the history with Alfa some guys may have but, being a factory Trained master Technician with Ferrari and Maserati and even some factory Lamborghini training puts me in the right category to repair these cars. I'd love to get added to that google map. Looking forward to helping!

Alfiat Don't worry! I've driven my super cross country three times and from Austin TX to CT last spring and included the Natchez Trace. Its a nice smooth road with not much distraction. Here is the post I did at the time:

jnorton Speaking of which, i've recently purchased a 1986 spider and plan to drive it from Indianapolis to the Florida panhandle (backroads, Natchez Parkway) this weekend. I'll be bringing my recently acquired AAA card, a toolbox, very limited mechanical ability and leaving my wife and worries at home. I'm setting my expectations that i will have some sort of issue but i still dont know what i will do or where i will go when that happens in the middle of nowhere. suggestions?

Sorry, I did not see the one from #197 when I looked, but indeed it is there. Great work! Thanks.

Yes, I still update the map whenever I get a new addition to this thread. Sometimes an address is not included so this makes it difficult to place on the map.

Jay and Jeremy. I've used them and trust them. They do more German than Alfas, but they've been good with my 2L Spider. No need to drive to Euro Tec so far.

Angelo is the guy. He's been working on Alfas and Fiats all of his life. He started working on them Italy in the '60s-'70s and has been in the same place for 30+ years now. He has serviced my '74 Spider and '72 GTV. He has a few Alfas himself and his place ALWAYS has them parked outside. Has has real Alfa dealer tools I think he acquired from a dealership back in the day when they left the USA. He also does restorations as well. Last time I was in there he was redoing 2 S2 spiders. He's the real deal. Give him a call!!
