Hello. I joined this site some time ago when I started to buy an alfa but for whatever the reason was unable to..my question is I am close to buying a 1990 spider graduate that has aftermarket tires and wheels..I want to replace them with Dayton's or something as close to possible as original...any suggestions where to start??

Alfiat Agreed. Fortunately our cars are so well made that shop visits are rare. ;0
Hopefully people will let me know if shops close down.

Alfa Import Center

Hi Folks it's Giuseppe LoRe Sr.
There seems to be something that needs to be cleared up.
Yes I moved back to N.Y. my new shop is 49-14 25th Avenue, Woodside, N.Y. 11377 my phone # is 718-381-6764.
But I still own 1816 Lucas Lane in Charlotte N.C. 28213. My son Giuseppe LoRe Jr. Is still running the shop for me. By Appointment only. Because he still works for Pat Rogars Harley Davidson. His schedule is not steady. his days off rotate every week. so he can only work at the charlotte shop 3 to 4 days a week. that's why appointments are nessary.
His phone number is 718-309-4614, for all parts inquires, tech, Service,Etc.Etc. call me Giuseppe Sr. our plan is to run both shop full time. we are short handed at the moment. I'm looking for a parts manager to take my place so I can concentrate full time on building motors and transmissions. I'm looking for someone in the n.y. area at this time. charlotte later. please son't hesitate to call me. I've been repairing alfa's since 1974, I have no plans too stop now. thanks to all who have supported us through the years.
Giuseppe LoRe Sr.

kuni123456 I have repaired all of my Alfas since 1968. I remember my Father going to a dealer and they did not want to fix his 1961 SV. I started to repair Alfas and now repair all of my cars including the three Infinitis that my family drives. I had some work done by Emilio Alfieri and Ward and Deane Racing, but Emilio got sick and Don Deane passed away and Alan moved to Hendersen, Nevada. I live in the Los Angeles area and there are a number of Alfa repair shops that do good work.

Roadtrip Looks like the address I saw recently was his original address in NY (old internet page), not his current one (after the move back from Charlotte) on 25th Ave in Woodside near LaGuardia Airport.

Never mind.

alfajp Yes sir, his son is still there. Have not been by there since Giuseppe want back to NY.
