I know there is a thread elsewhere for ALL Alfa pics, but what about one HERE for just the 164?
Anyone?

The more I looked at the picture the more I thought that the red 164 in the picture looked familiar, I was thinking wow this one has the same wheels as mine, then I saw that it was taken at the 2004 Italian car day in Atlanta and realized that it is my 94 164Q with the O.Z. wheels. It saves me from posting pictures.

I wondered if you where here on the forum. Sorry, we never took the opportunity to chat a bit. I apologize that I can be a bit shy at times, my wife is the talker. ;) There where a lot of very fine cars there to see wasn't there? I thoroughly enjoyed my first Italian Car Day. Maybe will meet up again in ATL.

Oh what the heck, I join you guys. Here is mine a 94Q with 101,000 while it does not look like it, really needs a total paint job the left front fender for some weird reason is taking on a dark shade of red only noticeble in artificial light or if you take a digital picture. Not sure how much a complete paint job will run but I am sure it will be expensive.

Though she looks great in the pics, no doubt I'll be calling on you guys for assistance at times :D

BTW, anyone have a photo of the stereo unit installation. Mine's been removed, though there is a CD stacker in the boot ????? Are these things a standard DIN type head unit ?

[Edit: old hosting service shut down, so I re-uploaded these pics for posterity. I no longer own this car but have fond memories of my adventures with it!]

Some pics that I just took of my California-based 1994 164 Super 3.0V6 24v.

Wheels are off a 164Q4, 16x6.5" with Toyo T-1R's at 205/55/16.

Nothing like a nice glass of grape after a hard working Alfa day!

You asked for 164 pics.....

I love my 164L. It's 9.5 out of 10, but I'm too much of a non-techie for a complex car like the Alfa, so after 3 great years am selling it on ebay. Here's the link, and the pics. (More on ebay). Enjoy!

In my case, I couldn't get this dinky Nikon digital to take photos that would capture the details of my car's exterior, being white, yet it magnified the few tiny creases in the leather seats and made them look dried out. My cousin's red 164 with the clearcoat peeling and beef-jerky textured leather seats looked gorgeous in photos.....I guess some cars are just more photogenic than others.
