Pressed wrong button. As GTV6 owners its nice to see the prices on Trademe have gone up but there seems to be a lack of buyers which means true market value below the price timbowe is asking. Frustrating when you see what pieces of **** type cars sell for.
I love my Alfas and I didn`t acquire them for increase in value-(although I have used that line on my wife) but it pisses me off when you see poxy Escort Sports, or ordinary model Holdens etc ask for and get more. Guess I`m an automotive snob and in some ways more appealing that the great unwashed don`t go for them. Names probably too hard for them to say and spell thats why they go for the four letter names or two syllable names.
Merry Christmas everyone. If anyone`s in Christchurch feel free to make contact.

There are a couple of GTV6 bargains here in Aus to be had for the moment, from memory at around $8-9K. Seem like nice cars with less than 200K on the clock. Mind you there is also a low Km car for $25K, which seems probably somewhat too high. Check out New & Used Cars – Search New & Used Cars For Sale - CarPoint Australia Dave

I`ve learnt through the years that you should go for the best one you can afford-it`s usually cheaper in the end, plus it is nice having something that is original and unmolested-there has to be a premium on that and I for one would be prepared to pay that premium. What is any car worth? The answer is of course whatever a buyer is prepared to pay. Bear in mind what else you can buy for $25k- not a lot really in the same quality.
I thought overall compared to New Zealand your Alfas are bloody dear Dave. New models especially so but 105`s etc etc as well. Only comparables were the 116 GTV`s but I think they are undervalued internationally and Europe seems to be heading upwards.
