Do you recognize this steering wheel?

To All those BBers familiar with post-AR164 cars:

I purchased a beautiful 3 spoke steering wheel off a guy in England who claimed that it would fit an Alfa Romeo 164. Well, as it turns out, the wheel does not fit the 164. I still would like to find a way to use it for my car, but first I need to find out what Alfa model this may have acutally come from. My thought is I might be able to obtain the proper steering shaft, cut and weld it onto a 164 shaft and then be able to use the wheel.

It's also possible that I might be able to have a machinist find a way to work the wheel or shaft in such a way that the teeth can match up, but I'm thinking a grafted piece from the proper car is the easier, sounder, and cheaper way to go.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

...or if anyone can tell me whether the steering wheels for the 147, 156, 166 or other various models are interchangeable that would be great too.

Might be from a new generation (95-06) Spider/GTV or late 164 Q4. Not seen something like it in 147 or 156, and don't think it's from a 166.

Thanks for the input. I will follow up on that link. Lenard/164Family has a Momo leather/wood wheel for his Q4 but it is of the 4 spoke variety....which better matches the steering column shroud.

Even if/when I get this wheel to fit I know I'll have that slight mismatch...which hopefully won't be too noticeable and something I can live with.

The steering wheel is from a Alfa 145/146 and was only available via the "linea accessori" accessory lineup from Alfa.

Very rare in Europe...

I noticed it says "SRS Airbag" on the front. Did you get an airbag with it?

Thanks for the confirmation that it came from 146 series.

Yes, the wheel comes with the airbag and the airbag unit is still good/hasn't activated.

Now to hunt for an AR146 steering rod/column shaft so I can try to graft that on to a 164 unit.
