rattling noise behind the glovebox/airbag area

Hi!

I have an 2005 GT coupe 1,9JTD.

Today when driving around I heard a rattling noise from inside my car. At first I thought it came from the ashtray or glovebox and it is just some plastic things rolling around. The second time I heard it was when I switched of the engine. Then I heard the noise again. It lasted for few seconds and it seemed like it was coming from behind the passenger airbag/glovebox area. I turned the car on again at had it running for a few minutes. Then switched it off again but the noise did not repeat.

Does anyone have a glue what this might be? I bought the car a few weeks ago and had everything checked at the official dealer. Then everything seemed ok...

P.S. Just came from the car wash - It was an automatic station with pressure wash and a some water came in from the window jointing...(but for the first time the noise was before that)

P.P.S. There should be enough window washing fluid in the tank.

The air intake for the heater/ventilation is situated behind the clove box. The systems flaps are opened and closed by small electrical motors, I think one of these are running, maybe because the flap has worked loose.
Temperature is regulated automatically via the flaps; therefore the motors are actuated by the system, not the driver.
