Fuel Pressure-156 TS-1999

Hey guys just wondering what the fuel pressure should be when cranking the car over?

im having problems with my brothers car as it wont start. she cranks, but wont kick over and while cranking, fuel pressure is between 50-53psi.

she has fuel and has spark, although the 2nd and 3rd coil packs seem to be a bit weak. despite this, I have found that if i disconnect the fuel line to the fuel rail she will start, run and then die, but with the fuel line connected she dies.

ive run in through a scanner and she shows up an error that indicates the fuel ratio is too rich.

has anyone experienced issues like this before and fixed them?

cheers raff

The Fuel pressure looks ok. Try again to start with disconnented maf or disconneted lambda probe or coolant sensor.
