A few problems with my 156

I have a 1999 156 TS.

A few problems i have are.............

1. The fuel injection wasrning light has come on, any body any ideas what this could be and how much it is likely to cost?

2. When i use the alarm to lock the doors, it does so but the alarm goes off after about 5 seconds.

Any advice would be appreciated.

do you have any other symptons with that light? could be lambda probe or MAF.
You could try also reset the ecu. Take battery off for 45 minutes put back and let idle about 5 minutes and some driving.. I dont have original alarm so no info about that.

have had the car checked by diagnostic and it says

purge canister valve.

Called alfa and they said they never go, any ideas?

After the car was diagnosed faults were, the timing was out on. purge canister needed replacing total cost from alfa £580

Now the fans stopped working!!

Its all getting too much!!!
