alfa romeo es30 sz or rz is staring at a 147. lucky guy to be in the same room as both cars...some people out here haven't seen one or ther other in person.

nice saab with alfa motor. those cars are built on the same platform as well as one of the lancias so i can see engine swaps being possible.

There were four cars that shared the same platform. The Fiat Croma, Lancia Thema ( in Italy you could get it with a Ferrari V8), the Saab 9000 and of course the Alfa-Romeo 164 (this car should have had the ferrari V8 option).

Supposedly the Alfa engine in the Saab runs really bad, some crappy installation basically.

Yes, the Thema 8.32... We have some of those here in Sweden as well (private import), quite a cheap way to get your hands on a Ferrari engine. It's de-tuned though, don't know how.
From what I heard it eats motor mounts...

I don't get it, why would you want Ferrari engine maintence though on an ugly car that is FWD? no logic in my mind... I mean you pay out the kazooie for Ferrari Engine maintence for a crappy 80s car that is on the same platform as a 164 and Saab 9000...
