Me first wants some lessons from Martin Steyn on how to drive a front-driver the way that he does MAN!!!!

That's what I was actually saying - try get behind the wheel yourself - or maybe you could navigate for Dawie Jnr - the "all tar" seems to have a fun vibe to it, and our classic alfa racers did superbly last year not having done anything like that before. You have to see the "Off road" guys throw those 4x4s around Zwartkops - it's brilliant.
BTW Trevor is no slouch himself behind the wheel and has progressed from racing his Giulia in "Trofeo" and "pre 66 Saloons" to a full factory drive for Fiat in the production cars. He won a heat in something like his 3rd race out.
Good luck with the car - who's preparing it for you? Dawie? Is it still at Alfissimo?

Ex-tarquini car for sale
http://www.fastroadandtrack.co.uk/fr....php?adid=2398
But with a Q4 engine, so not quite genuine anymore. But with 300 bhp it will totally dominate AROSC's Alfa Cup hehe.

Cheers Shaun! Yes, I would have loved to drive, but we are entering to win.... Yeah, I like Trev. - he's a good guy. This will not be an Alfissimo sponsored car but a John and Dawie sponsored car ha-ha dammit
Any way, Eventually it will go back to the 2003 LG Flatron colours. (It's over at Dawie's shop right now getting all of the 2004 Alfissimo stuff pulled off...
Zamani! Nice one; buy it....

Updates Pics;
So, as some of you may know, the All-Tar Rally was postponed to the 1st weekend in December and I won't be there The wheather is going to be hot-hot-hot!
The car is making huge power and Dawie and I are making good progress with it. (Dawie, Wikus and Barry I should say, as they are back there doing all of the work...)
Any way - got the brakes on (hubs converted to 5x120 for more wheel selections, stronger hubs and bigger discs...) The dash is basically done, race seats are in, engine started... Gearbox, clutch is good.
The driver (and navigator) is a Pro who can drive the wheels off of any front-driver! This should be interesting.
A few updated shots...

Looks very nice, ahhhh bmw alloy's on an Alfa people have been shot for less lol
That engine is lovely, was it hard to fit correctly?
Have you changed the suspension set up?
Good luck in the up and coming events.
Damien.

To fit the engine? These cars came with that 156-series V6... (although in 2.5 24 valve trim and we made it 3.45), but dmensionally, outside - it stayed the same...
More room now with all of the crap removed from A/C, mechanical P/S etc etc...

Cool, I was just wondering was there much work to be done to get that engine to fit, seen as there was no engine originally, I knew they had a 2 litre engine all right.
