Hi!
There's this thing about rpm vs speed in my 156 1.8 that I'm missing out..:
In 5th gear, at 6000rpm, the speeder shows around 200km/h (~125mph). Well, doing all the math, considering gearbox and diff ratios, and tyre size, at 6000rpm, I should be traveling at 209km/h (~130mph).
On the other side, I red somewhere that the rev limiter is at 7100rpm, although my car cuts off very close to 7500rpm!
I'm thinking that the problem is a unaccurate revcounter, but I'd like to hear from you guys that have similar cars (1.6 have the sames ratios...).
If the problem is indeed with the revcounter, what can I do to make it accurate?
