My 156 Gta is currently being fitted with a new clutch at a cost of £800. The question of whether the warranty will cover this remains unresolved. The car is three years old with on 28k miles on the clock and has a Full AR Service history.
Is this a common GTA problem?
Am I alone in feeling that this is very premature clutch failure ?
Well at 3 years my warranty will be done. (3 year/60k). What is yours?
Why does you clutch need to be replaced. On my GTA I had some clutch drag and a few transmission issues and our dealer replaced it for me free (when it was 1 year old with 20km on it). The funny thing is, it turned out that the problem was not resolved....
SO, I have to say your clutch problem must be premature, unless in those 28k you've tracked it all the time or really thrashed it.
None of my other many GTA friends have had to replace theirs and they're all at 40-60k km.
