Advice for 147 that won't be driven for awhile

I am working abroad for awhile and my baby (manual 147 1.6, 2001 model) is parked at home. The car will not be driven for several months (up to 9 months) :(

I have disconnected the battery, but have not done anything else. Is there anything else I should do? I have been told worrying stories of seized wheel bearings and such. Would it be a good idea to get someone to drive it once in a while? If so, how often would be advisable?

When I do get back home, are there any steps that I should take before driving it?

Advice would be appreciated!
Mike.

Have somebody drive it once every 3 or 4 weeks. Even when I go away for a month I have a friend drive it around once or twice. Can't hurt.

Can I drive it lol:p

Ya get someone to drive it around to make sure everything is going good.

And if you have your car outside your house without it moving it would be a easy car for someone to steal if they where watching it not being driven for a good while they would know you not home.
