Thumbs up

Good job Sniady!!

I think 141.030 is in seconds, so it would be 2:21.030???

Gotta get my GTV track ready really quick!! It looks like you guys are having A LOT of FUN!!!

Uh, could some one explain those times to me? 2:16 vs. 141.030?? It's all, (dare I say it?) Greek to me.

And just curious, what class would a bone stock 1600 GTV be placed in?

I can't believe it myself. On saturday, I was doing 2:30 +/-, and I was all over the track. So sunday mourning, I threw Anthony behind the wheel of my car, and he drove it for a full session. I pretended I had a steering wheel.

On the next session I shaved my time to 2:20's, and then I managed to pull off a 2:16. I was blown away. All credit due to Anthony Rimicci, with out his help, I'd still be doing 4 wheel slides in every corner.

Kai: 141.030 = seconds. Add them up, and you get 2:21.030. (and I failed algebra!)

Buttonwillow track records

The track records are posted in seconds rather than minutes:seconds. I suspect this is an artifact of the timing system file format. In any event, I am in the process of updating the track records because so many of the posted ones are out of date. Hopefully they will be ready before the end of the month. I will post them in the m:ss.sss format to make consistent with the way results are posted. Also, I'll put a link on AlfaBB when they are ready.

Time to beat for class B is 132 secs (2 min 12 secs) for class B. I will be in class B next year.

Terry Manchester is actually the person I should target eventhough he is in class C. His GTV is not very modified, but he is one FAST driver.

Are the Qualifying laps for the Enduro eligible for revising the records, I ran two 2.05.and change according to my Hot lap system. Does anyone have the transponder time sheet?

Larry,

Greg Nelson was in charge of the Enduro. You should check with him regarding the availability of transponder times. As for qualifying lap times counting as time trial laps, I think that would be a hard one to justify. Still, that's a great lap time. Perhaps next year you will enter the TT and the record will be yours.
