I thought might be interesting:
History
This Luchini-Alfa was raced in the 1990’s by Mazza in the Italian Prototipi Series, gaining multiple victories. It was also raced in hillclimbs. At the end of the decade, Geyser raced the Lucchini-Alfa in the Euroseries, continuing to claim victories.
In 1999, the Frankonia Team acquired the SP 90, and raced it in the Euroseries. With Kuhnel driving, the Luchini-Alfa came second in the Championship. Madmatze also drove the car during 1999, in the Euroseries and in SC2000, finishing second in the Euroseries.
Description
The Luchini-Alfa SP 90 is powered by a Class CN, 3.0 litre, six cylinder, two valve, Alfa Romeo engine prepared by Beuerle. The Alfa produces 250 horsepower. The Hewland gearbox is in excellent condition. The SP 90 comes with many suspension spares, and has been fitted with new Koni shock absorbers and new springs. The brakes are AP.
Given the equipment on this car, and its history, this is a lot of car for the offered price.
