The sun was shinning in my eyes and blinding me but it looks like I'm adjusting it doesn't it.

Chitty chitty bang bang cough wheeze
First my headlights fell out when I hit the burm in turn 6, then my helmet flew off because I forget the chin strap, then I lost the bumper somewhere in the corkscrew because the zip-tie holding it on broke, then the brakes failed, so I tried to use the top as an air brake, but then it ripped and flew away, then my grill came loose when I ran into the back of a TZ, and that made the rear view mirror come loose, so I had to hold it in-place, and since I couldn't shift (because my hand was on the mirror) I blew up the motor and it fell out as I came over the top of the hill........BUT I WILL FINISH! KEEP PUSHING! To finish first, you must first finish.
Who the hell teched this car, anyways?

Is that a joke or are you serious? I don't know what kind of a car you race, but some people can only afford what they have and love it. To alfacupp, that spider is worth as much to him as that fellow in the Los Angeles Alfa Club values his TZ
That car looks cool with all that stuff missing. Reminds me of the days when we used to drive our cars to the track (Riverside, Pomona, Santa Barbara) and rip stuff off our car. Once we got done with the racing for the weekend, all of us re-assembled our cars. The tech guys actually like the cars stripped because the was less stuff that could fall off the cars.
I am curious to see your Duetto, I got out of racing in the early 60's when I got married and started a family and never got a chance to see Duetto's race. Please, post some pictures.

I'm with Dave on this one. I mean Brad's post was funny but perhaps AC's feelings were hurt. Brad, I would have apologized instead of getting huffy.
I show up at events with primer all over my baby. But I'm proud as hell to have her!

Hey boys and girls ... Andy's pretty cool, and worked hard to get his car to Laguna this time. He had a pretty tough weekend but with some help from other racers, he made it through most of the weekend.
That pic was -meant- to be taken out of context! We all had a great time, and I don't think anyone is beating up Andrew about it. You have to admit, taken out of context that is a funny pic.
Hey, next time around it could be YOU (or me) and someone else will be holding the camera then!
If anything, the pic shows that this club is incredibly helpful to all that belong to it, including the ribbing you get, because we love you!

No guys I am good, brads responds made me chuckle. I fact it was me making a inside joke at his exspene, or tring to.
I am a little frustred with what has happened to the car in the last few times out. At willow two times back I had contact with an other car that bent the nose and lost, crushed a headlight on saturday. Sunday the spica pump removed itself from the block dumping all its oil, during the timed runs. Only got one lap timed plus an engine with shot mainbearings, piston rings, value guides, ect. still ran just real poor.
I put in an other engine I had, for laguna, and hooked up an electric fan with therostat on-off switch. This ran after engine shutoff and drian the weak battery all the way down and killed it. I Hit the tire wall coming out of turn 3 and put 5-6 volleyball sized dents in the drivrside of the car.
Had fuel pressure problems during saturdays race and blow a heater hose. To top it off Sunday I lost fith gear in the last practice before the tt and race and packed it up and want home. All in all it was a fun weekend and I can't wait to run the enduro in three weeks.
I guess I like having a beater and being one of the few guys out there in a spider. I do plan to get the body fixed. I am hope to find an old pair of corello headlight covers to paint when I get the work done. Go head and make jokes about the car but be kind to my luck and driver skill. Brad hope all is good
Nizam I love the picture I've printed it and pinned it up in the garage.
