In addition to the Magnaflow exhaust system, I have dynamat all throughout the hood and intake side of the engine bay. This helps trap the sound inside. it's what the sound system places install in car doors and pannels to help keep the sound inside the car. I also threw some filters over the velocity stacks. That should do the job.

So I guess you are coming then. Cool.

BTW, has your dad done some work on Alfa Boxer engines? How about importing a smog exempt 1973 Alfasud Ti with and put in a 1.7 16V engine? That would be kind of cool. A stock 1.7 engine already puts out 135 bhp stock.

Check this out:

BTW, I see that there will be a Alfa sports racer in one of the race groups. That's not your uncle's right?

Weather reports says sunny days ahead

But my car is still not finished

Work has been so hectic. I haven't had the chance to finish up work on my car

But if all goes well, my friend and I will show up there early Sat. A.M. with our 75 3.0 and Berlina 2.0 TS VVT , both running Autronic SMC sequential efi we installed and tuned ourselves.

Wax 'em, too!

Don't forget to wax 'em too. I understand we are going to try to take a group Alfa-photo under the Bridgestone Bridge. The photo is not limited to "entered" Alfas, either. With 60 + Alfas, including a TZ, it should be a good shot!

Anyone want AlfaBB.com decals delivered to Laguna this weekend? I am bringing the decals with me. If you do, come see me whereever we will be parked in the paddock and we can do some business.

Group photo

Laguna seca is allowing us to take the group photo on Saturday afternoon, right after the qualifying races. So, have your Alfa ready to roll out to the Bridgestone Bridge at 4:40.

Brad (or anyone in the know at AROSC),

So was the event last month the only time this year we're going to Laguna? There is still a TBD date on the calander for November, so I was just wondering if the club is still trying to secure a date at Laguna for then, or what? Will the November TT just be scrapped, will it be at another track?

Thanks,
Chip

Laguna Dates

No, we don't have another Laguna date. We actually didn't have one at all, and the only reason we were there last week was because someone else cancelled, and they called us. Hence the short notice on the applications. There is no way to reserve a date at Laguna in advance. We ask for one, and they tell us if we get one. Period. It's not easy to get a date, as so many clubs want one. I did hear that we are going to Las Vegas in the fall. it's a long haul, but i love that track! And that city!
