105 suspension set up

Greetings

What will be the ideal suspension set up for 105 if racing in Sepang f1 circuit in Malaysia....?

Er, how long is a piece of string?

There are way too many variables to answer that question, ie. is the car standard, what tyres are you running, your driving style, etc.

If the car is standard then either leave it alone and simply ensure all joints, springs (remember they age) and shocks are in perfect order OR look at a Harvey Bailey handling kit.

105 suspension set up

Hi pete ,

Its a standard 1600gt with bilstien all round , i am just starting to prepare the car for race . will be running 15 in with 195/48/15 slicks. Just want to find out what will be the ideal spring setting for 105.

Does anyone know of a company that offers coil overs for the 105 gtv?

Henk thuis is a good guy who races a 400 hp 75 turbo himself. Most people in dutch Trofeo have his coilover kits on their 105s.
Its a lot of mods though, and you can't run in many classes with coilovers. Certainly not in Historic racing....
