Classic Car Race in Malaysia

We're having classic car race next weekend and throughout the year on the F1 circuit in Sepang. I'm trying to enter my 1750 GTV next weekend, hopefully (missed the first race due to electrical problems) Anybody interested?

Pics of the car before the race. Good speed during free practice and qualifying. Change the venturi and it slowed a bit. DNF in both races, one with a loose contact point and the other, not sure but couldn't engage the gear. Overall, lose the straight line speed with the rest of the competitor, last place on the grid. Not sure what the problem is but the specs are, i'm using a 1600 engine on a 1750 body, using webbers 40 but I think my rear axle differential is for 2000 engine as I have no pick up speed.

Timing is 1.42 min free practice, 1.34 qualifying, 1.32 race before DNF. The porsche are doing 1.09s

more pics of the car in the race. Car is using stock 1600. Need to change the diff, and not sure of other works but is kinda slow and not competitive. Any suggestions?
