VARA Race
Vintage Auto Racing Association (VARA) will be holding their annual British Extravaganza this weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway in the lovely desert crap hole of Buttonwillow. Over 200 cars should be there. In addition to the regular vintage races, there will be a few challenge races amongst British cars as well. VARA also offers lunch time drive arounds for $20 both days and will be raffling a Jaguar 4 door of some type...I can't remember. Come check out some great racing. Hope to see you there!
Buttonwillow Raceway is located 10 miles north of Highway 58. Take Interstate 5 north, exit Lerdo Highway and procede Left, the track will be on the left. Total distance from the San Fernando Valley is 125 miles.
Admission is generally $10 for the weekend.
