VSRG-Vintage 2.5 Challenge

They say first race is March 8th & 9th at Willow on the site. Hmmm..

Willow Springs is our First Event of 2008

We are only a few weeks away from our season opener. We do not have a feel as of yet as to the amount of participation and are aware that there are a number of drivers that are still trying to get their car ready (me included!). We will be there, with or without a car, and plan on a hosted "happy hour" after our groups last run of the day on Saturday. If you have not registered yet there is still plenty of time (use the HSR-West logo on our main page to link to the HSR-West site for entry info.

Since we do not have our "My Schedule" page active yet, we would really appreciate you letting us know via e-mail if you plan to attend this event.

Little do they know there is a VARA race at CA Speedway the same weekend and there are at least 6 confirmed B Sedan cars racing there.

That sure would be great if they can get the 2.5 going again. I really enjoyed watching those races.

WOW! I had not seen that Maroon # 13 GTV for a long time! Is Mr. Ward still out there?

It would be good to have a 2.5 Race in Topeka - middle of the US - all can go.

There is a IMSA RS/ SCCA 2.5 Challenge reunion race being held at VIR Sept 25-28 2008 during the SVRA race weekend. It is the 4th annual race.Check out SVRA.com for more info.

SOVREN ran an under 2L TransAm grid at their Spring Sprints last weekend. They had a nice mix of GTVs, 911s, 2002s, 510s, and a Cortina. I've posted some pictures here. Mostly the Alfas but I'll get some others up. Keep checking back.
