All bow down to the Alfa-god that is Richard Jemison and his super secret Castrol method...

Nice job Bill! Are you going to take the car to the convention next year (or the year after that in Portland, OR - down south of us...?)

I've read about your 3.7 engine development with great interest! Really impressive. If I had unlimited funds and more time I'd look into getting that engine....

Speaking of funds, it's just too expensive to trailer the Milano that far at 10 miles/gal. If we ever have a convention closer to New Orleans then I'll be there.

Plus I wouldn't be allowed to run in the time-trials. Would be in Class "A", which requires roll bars. I don't want roll bars because that's extra weight, and for autocross it isn't needed.

Hi James,

If you want to talk to Andy at Performatek about getting some 30mm bars, maybe you and I could both order some? I might be able to find another person or too also.

What cheap 27mm bars are you getting? Also, keep in mind, your 27mm should be softer than mine even, being that they are longer. (My new train of thought would be to limit the movement of the front suspension as much as possible due to roll. Our LCAs are soo short, practically any movement results in large changes in track and camber).

Anyhow, good luck with your ventures, to the both of you.

And Bill, if you have any more tales of your buddies racing transaxle car in the past, please tell! I haven't heard about any of these guys before.
