Anthony:
It looks like both #95 & #331 are still available for the BIG RACE!...
#95 has a ligit connection with your Rimicci Bros/CHT GTA, as it was the number carried at the Monterey Historics by your car.
Your car carried # 33 only in a bunch of AROSC events and an SCCA Willow Springs driver's school and two Calclub regionals and one Calclub 4th of July Double National Weekend... (entered in one race in B Sedan and another as B Sports Racing... finishing first in both events!)
FYI... in the Double National at RIR (where Charlie was running to complete his required races for a FIA/Pro racing license for Trans-Am eligibility)... I held up a pit sign on lap #2 saying "+22.0 EZ!" No wonder we were cocky when we joined the TransAm trail! These were RIVERSIDE NATIONALS !

the last thing i'm worried about right now is the cars number. at this point, if i can find a way to get it there, i'll take whatever they give me. if we cant get that stacker, i'm gonna have to get a night job and use that money to pay one of those transporters to get it there! i'll call you in the morning.

This IS shaping up to be THE most impressive gathering of North American post World War II Racing ALFAs on the planet... condolences to Goodwood.... (we do bow to the Goodwood exhibition of Pre-War machinery!)
Now! Let's see the Typo 33s!!! Bring-em-on! I don't want to be competing for top time of the day with my 2 liter GTV (GTA Replica) running with the newer 3 liter production cars and crazy turbos, even though they are interesting, but we need to see the REAL DEAL!

Anthony Rimicci just Committed!

Rick, thus far NO 3 liters or turbo stuff. You will be running with at least 8-10 real GTA's not to mention a bunch of wicked fast GTV's and Spiders. Besides depending on the amount of cars that register there may be two separate enduros, isolating period correct cars.

If there is enough interest in the poster, I'll get them made and have them ready for the Convention.

In regards to the #3 Horst Kwech car, Dr. Martinez explained that after Trans Am, it sat in exile in Mexico for over 30 years. I will post info. and a bit of history on that car and other GTA's real soon.

I hope you change your mind Eliseo, I told you we're going to make history!

They're only available to people who enter the Alfa race. Is that enough of an incentive for you to bring out the Spider?

Eliseo,

One good turn deserves another. Thanks for giving me the race fuel in Detroit. In September, remembering what you did for me, I gave race fuel to Jerry Rosenstock for his beautiful Giulietta SZ at the Lime Rock Vintage Races.
