VARA at Las Vegas

Just thought you would all like to know, Anthony (ITALCARGUY) won the B Sedan race at Vegas this past weekend. He passed Alan Ward at the start of the race and held him off till Ward broke after a few laps and Anthony cruised home.

Richard (rtbracer) was leading B Sedan on Saturday when the rubber donut on the back of the tranny blew up and ended his weekend.

Congratulations Anthony!

Maybe I'll have my car back together by Vara at Buttonwillow and I'll catch up with you then.

Did you ever purchase an ISAAC?

Efrain, I wasn't at Vegas. Did you have a problem with the Eagle?

Is Brian okay? I heard he got wrong side up.

I lost a wheel bearing during the Sunday morning practice and didn't get to race. It was too bad, Richard (rtbracer) and I had changed the setup of the car a bit and it was easily a second quicker.

Brian damn near got upside down, I believe he hit a curb and took flight, the car nosed down but he didn't flip.

Thanks, it sure was a good race. I can't wait for Willow Springs next weekend.

Get it together, the May Buttonwillow event is gonna be HUGE.

I haven't gotten a head/neck restraint system yet. I am gonna look into it more and hope to have one by summer. What did you go with?

Anthony,

You are racing with TCRA next weekend ????

Kim is going to give them a try. I'll be wrenching for her on Sunday.

If you want to try my ISAAC, I'll bring it with me on Sunday. My helmet size is 7 1/8. The shield is a little scratched as I co-drove in a Rally car a couple of weeks back (what a blast!), anyway I underestimated the amount of tearoffs required

I'll bring it and you can try it out if you wish, if not you can just look at, feel, touch it and see what you think.

TCRA is this weekend. VARA is next weekend. TCRA is a super cool group to run with, always one time and great competition. I'll be at Willow April 3-4.

I didn't know you had raced with TCRA. I forgot VARA Willow was so soon. Guess when I have to miss a few races I block it out so I'm not depressed.

Laguna has always been really tough for the raspy rotary powered cars to get under their 92db limit. The new for the AROSC limit of 90 was enough to give TCRA/Willow a try the same weekend. We'll see how it goes...
