Makes me want to dump my hi8, get a digi cam and head for the track. Thanks for the tips.

Terry - thanks for the advice. I must say I've discovered what you just mentioned the hard way. My first attempts at filming an event led ME to want to vomit when I viewed it on my laptop. It's worse on the big screen.

Unfortunately, most folks don't know this.

However, of late the footage I've captured have been more in step with your advice and the results are much much better. Still not perfect, definitely amateur but better.

I hope to do better as time goes on since I don't think this will be my day job!

So can you help secure some passes/permission to be at some good spots at Laguna?
