Anyone going to the vintage races at Mid Ohio on June 29th??
We are(wife and I) going down on friday AM and staying until Sun.

Paul, there will be a pretty large contingent of Alfas at Mid-Ohio. The event features "The Cars of Italy." Look us up. I'll be there with my 8-year old crew chief in the #47 yellow GTV. Rob Davenport will be there in his beautiful red GTV, as will Eliseo Carillo in his equally nice green 101 Giulia spider. I'm pretty sure you will see Mike and Andy Besic in a yellow roundtail and red GTV respectively. Brian Stark's yellow GTV will be there with either he or his son Peter driving. Bernardo Martinez senior and junior will likely be there. Bernardo Junior is really fast and just picked up a GTV. I'd be surprised if Rob Mocas doesn 't make it in his GTV. Roman Tucker's tent will surely be full of Alfas, most likely including 2 old TransAm GTV's.

I've probably missed several. I will be surprised if there are not at least 15-20 Alfas running. It should be fun!

We're looking into it! We would pile the family in the ole minivan, load up the tent and coolers and camp at the track.
Kate and I did it years ago with a spider, that was B.C. though.......(before children)

As far as road courses go, Mid-Ohio is a pretty good place to camp. The showers aren't even that bad! Relatively kid friendly too.

We are planning on camping also. Theo, (the ol lady) enjoys the camping part. I am planning on leaving early on friday in the am. Probably sixish. I bet I won't get up there as fast as I used to in the GTV-6

. I think my record from Louisville to Columbus was a bit under two hours

. I love the stretch after Kings Island. After eleven or twelve pm you can easily hit 125-130 and keep her there for quite a while. Ohio has entrapment laws that don't let them( the fuzz) hide in the bushes. You have to be in plain sight with at least parking lights on

. I may drive the 164 but most likely we'll take the Suzuki.

Paul, hope to make it at least Saturday. The GTV-6 will probably stay at home in the garage. I wish I had a tent to hide it from the sun. Greg

That would be cool Greg. When do you want to mess with the six and get rid of the squeek in the front? I should have some time soon to replace the bushings etc in the next couple of weeks.

Looks like the "ole folks" may be going also!!

Gotta give credit to an 80+ year old couple of Alfisti that will camp out for the weekend to see a bunch of cooool cars run around!!
My in-laws have been doing this stuff for ........ ever!!

Might even get Richard Jr and his wife to join us!!!!

Greg, come on, stay the night.........I can get an extra tent for ya!!! Bring the 6, it's sweeeeeeet!!!!
