Nor Cal Time Trial and Race

The SoCal club is considering running a combined event with ARA and the Seattle chapter at Thunder Hill. Anyone interested should contact the SoCal club to encourage this event sometime next year.
This is ARA's chance to jump start our own TT future.

Thunderhill sounds like fun... too bad is so far away from San Diego! And I thought it was a long drive towing the Milano up to Laguna Seca!

Brakes

Did you sell your eng.I was thinking about gearing up to make some more drop spindles. Besides that I have an extra complete rear vented rotor brake set up for a transaxle car. Hats, rotors, calipers w/spacers

Count me in. Thunderhill is an awesome track. I hope the SCCA will eventually put in facilities much like Buttonwillow there.

The engine is still here... but probably not for long. Why must you tempt me with more go-fast goodies? I can see it now... I'll have a awesome handling car with excellent brakes... but no engine because I spent all my money on brakes & drop spindles!

How much do you want for the vented rear rotor setup?

Hey Larry,

I want the drop spindles.

I picked up the 225/50 Kumho Victoracers from Erik's and I need to chop the front of my euro bumpers (dang!), but we must make sacrifices for the sake of speed.

I'm about to drop my ride height and am replacing every single bushing, balljoint and tierod in the front. So the sooner I get the drop spindles the better.

1:39 at Willow Springs here I come....

OK maybe 1:44

Zamani

p/s my car is already being disected as we speak. Oh yeah Chip, don't forget the seats....

Zamani,

Did you want the seats before January? We talked about it on the phone but I completely forgot what you said

wow... 225/50s! I run 205/45/16s and I have a very minor rubbing issue.

Hey Chip,

next year is fine. I'm too busy with the suspension now.

BTW, I posted to the Alfa Digest about the possibility about having this event.

Interest generated: 0

Try sending the digest about a new alfa forum again:

75evo- I'm from the NWARC, and some of us are really interested in a co-sponsored event at Thunder Hill, but I think it would have to be next year... from what I can tell, our slate is full with 3 dates at Pacific Raceways, and something like 8 at Bremerton Motorsports Park. First BMP date is March 02, a driver's school.
