1993 Phoenix/alfa Romeo

I just found this pictures of a "Phoenix" powered by an Alfa Romeo engine
It took part in the 1993 Mid Ohio 2 hours.
Entered by Steven Sirgany, driven by Steve Deeks & Steven Sirgany, it classified 13th (started 14th), 24 laps behind the winner J.M.Fangio III in his Eagle-Toyota.
Does anybody know more about this car?

The car had already taken part in the 12H of Sebring earlier that year, where it finished 43th, driven by James Lee-Steven Sirgany-Cliff Rassweiler

I was also at Sebring in 1993. I owned an '81 GTV6 at the time so I was pumped when I ran across this rear engined concoction. I took a few pictures, with film, obviously, and ran across them recently. The photos have some water damage but I scanned them anyway. I wish I could say I know more about the team or the car itself.

And a few more general interest shots. I believe the race was won by J.M.Fangio II and Andy Wallace in an Eagle.

I found this in Autopedia on the World's Best List of Alfa Sources page:
