Can't wait for 18 March. It appears from the last tests that Ferrari is on the right track, but it certainly seems like there will be more competitive teams this year. New drivers, more competitive teams, and Ferrari topping the time sheets - looks good!

I can't wait either, I think this will be the last GP I go to untill I have finished school so I want it to be good. To bad about the V8 engines though, I remeber when I first went to Albert Park the sound of the V10s were unreal and so loud. My mates that went last year think that the V8s don't have the presence of the replaced V10s, they sound different, quieter and to me less exciting. Still the event itself has to be the most exciting thing I have ever gone to. C'mon Prancing Horse!

Question Question for our Canadian members

Is CBC broadcasting F1 this year? I have it on my local cable system (French though, I can get through it). Last year they didn't and missed it lot.

I don't think the CBC has carried F1 for a few years. TSN (The Sports Network) has carried the BBC feed for a while now. I switch back and forth between Speed and TSN because their commercials are timed differently.

Yes... Montoya takes it but not without some controversy... punted his own team-mate out of the way. But good to see him win, nonetheless!

Thanks, I can get Speed Channel if I buy a total bundled package of a bunch of other channels I probably won't watch from my cable company. They also want me to get a descrambler. I guess I'm too damn stubborn (or cheap).

Well, there is the 3.2 inline 6 NA used in the BMW E46 M3 and M3 CSL.

This season should be good. Lots of hungry young drivers wanting to be the next king of F1. I really enjoyed watching practice tonight. Let's see if Ferrari can keep that 1 and 2 throughout the weekend.

I live about 5 miles from the track, and I could hear the F1 cars during their practice session this morning. And what a glorious sound it is!!

I won't get to the race this year, and my friends who had an apartment overlooking the track have moved....the inconsiderate b*stards!!!
