Nice pics! You really see the grainy effect with the high shutter speed. What was the shutter speed?

I never realized the speed differential between classes -- the P1 cars were lapping the field within 30 minutes of the start in a 9 hour race!

and I've never seen Road Atlanta so crowded. $75 to get in, $25 to park in the infield, and 90K attendance for the weekend reported. Panoz sure knows how to turn red clay into gold!

Jes,
It's a $200 Casio digital. The only option I had with regard to shutter was ISO400 speed.
My old APS SLR used to take great shots, without me even having to think hard. Those days are over!

Sorry I missed you at Petit. Great pics you took. Did you drive an Alfa? I saw 0 Alfas this year.
There wasn't much space left on Saturday. Biggest crowd I've ever seen at the event, or any other Road ATL event. What about all the RVs and tents? I think Friday night's Road Atlanta population was larger than nearby Gainesville.
ALMS really is motorsport for the fans. Other than rally, you just can't get this close to the action at the big events.
