The tifosi fans will always love him while others may not. Me? When I think of Ferrari, I think of Regazoni and Lauda at The Glen during the first week of October in the '70's.

He, Bernie, Max and even Senna/Prost have killed the sport in Formula 1.

Were are the great champions like Fangio ?!
...and how was F1 alowed do decay so much, to loose every bit of moral fiber ?!

Now with Schumacher gone, made the days of Bernie and Max are numbered and better people will replace them. Maybe there is hope for F1.

Well I have some regrets to.
I wish I hadn't done many things in life.
So Shumi is no different than any other human on earth. But he has nanno seconds to make decisions traveling upwards of 300 km per hour so I forgive him.

People analyze too many things he is truly one of the best drivers period.

Every once in a while there's someone who mentions Fangio or someone like that. Well one could make an argument. But why mention or compare the two men? Just say Fangio for me was the best and possibly why.

Well I'm a team owner do I pay someone to not push the car? Do I pay someone not to try to win? I think any team owner would have love Shumi raciing for them.

Fangio I can't comment on I'm sure he was brilliant but I didn't see him race nor is there any films on speed or alike.

So I'm glad Ferrari had Shumi for me I enjoyed his talent his well spoken manner and everything else.

People who think racing will be better without him are entitled to their opinions those who look at what his career did fo motorsport should realize what an honour it was to have witnessed him. (Good or bad) Lucky us!!!

I agree with ALFA-75-MAN totaly. I have been a Formula 1 fan since the early 50s and it has been wonderful. Herr Schumacher is a superb driver and I think he is a gentleman. What is more, I enjoyed watching him at Indy every year.

It makes ZERO sense to compare him with Fangio because the sport was very different when each of them raced.

"Gentleman?" o this is the best one yet. Wouldn't a "gentleman" have the integrity to apologise directly to Hill & Villeneuve? He ONLY endangered their lives, that's all. Any type of fluke in the accidents could have seriously injured them, the cheating aspect simply hurt the fool who initiated the collisions.
