SMILE - at least you have a race car to work on.

What's up with the Jr.??
I hope to be there- I want to talk to David E there.

The Jr is long gone- Bernie and Bernardo Martinez took it just after I got this car.

The funny thing is- if I put this much effort into that car back when I could- it would have been done a few years ago. I sometimes hate hindsight.

Oh, well. Have car, plus real log book.

HI Eric:
Stephan here. I know me from the AROC Convention in New England (I was the Chief Racing Instructor).

Nice Alfa you got. Hope you have the golden GTV for your other activities
Check out this link I posted on tyhe French Alfa Classique. I have other links in the BB: http://alfa-classic-club.forumactif....OGIE-t1429.htm

Notice some of the racetracks I race for COMSCC are not far from Detroit.

I have a contact in Mexico who have been asking me to participate in the Carrera PanAmericana but not with an Alfa). I am not sure 70's vintage Alfa qualifies for the Carrera. I get e-mails from Gerry (the US rep for the Carrera).

I've been working on this, too- and they will accept it. There are a few 2000's that have been running for some time- last year I thought I noted 2 running in Historica A+.

We actually have a couple of choices in class- either Historica A, if I install a 1600 motor, or Historica A Plus leaving in the 2000.

Gerry's been bugging me to run for a few years, and I know we will sometime.

As for the other events- I'll keep those in mind, but at the moment, we are going to limit to Waterford, Gingerman, Grattan, and Mid-Ohio most of the time, with occasional trips to the Glen or the various tracks near Chicago.

The gold car is still running, and will probably be our choice of cars at our convention. It's the only one of the fleet really running...

Eric
