alignment specs for 67 GTV race car

Ok, looked in the threads and came up with 1 post with spefics.
Curious what others are running for full race, not autocross/street race.
Specs I saw were -2 Camber, +4 caster, 0 Toe. Car is a 67 GTV 105 , has 1200 # WD springs, drop spindles, full cage (almost) etc. Tires are Hooiser now, may be Speedsters in future

Appreciate the help. Peter Inshaw

I'm running -3.5° camber per Hoosier recommendation... it seems to work. Pyrometer puts inside @ +10% temp vs middle & outside with proper inflation. Wear is very even.

Wheel alignment

i race a giulia ti in New Zealand.
i run -2.8 camber
3.0 castor
and .6mm of toe in each side.
this has produced very good results and tyre wear is very even as are the temperatures across the tyre after a race.
just another opinion to make you're choice more difficult.

ben

Peter, you are my driving instructor for next Monday at Thunderhill Got Guts event. Please check your E-mail/Junk mail I sent you last week. Or send me a P/m here on the board. I've offered room and board if you want to stay closer to the track, unless you have already reserved a room. That includes a spot in the garage if need be. Thanks for offering up some tips around T-Hill and look forward to meeting up.... Todd

I assume you're on Hoosier radials (vs bias-ply)?

tires

Well, dilemna, have a set of Hoosier street TD's (bias?) on 14" and just bought a set of Speedster 15" for my other car, but obviously they will fit on eithr one-63 Giulia or 67 GTV. Those are 205/60/15 and I hear are deisgned for more camber ie 2.5-3. Got another reply from someone local as well and seems like for radials, its 2.5-3 neg camber, max out caster at +3-4 and slight toe in, maybe 1/16th or so. Thanks for the advise, really apprecaite it. Keep you posted on progress, looks like this Saturday is crunch day for the getting it done.

If you are running the Street TD's (which are bias), you want much less camber than with radials. My suspension is similar to yours. I run 1.5 to 1.75 degrees static negative camber and get good temps and wear.

jrclem - doesn't a 10% bump on the inside pyrometer readings over the center and outside indicate too much negative camber?
