Who's going to the 24 in Daytona?

Any alfisti attending the 24 in Daytona next weekend? Several of us will be there in support of Team Seattle. If your going to be there it would be fun to meet and have a beer or two. Last year we saw several spiders both never met the owners. We are likely the only golf carts running around with Alfa stickers.

Ill be there this year along w/ a group of friends. Ill be bringing my GTV 6 as long as I can get a coolant leak fixed in time. We will be there the whole time so It would be great to see other Alfa Lovers! By the way what is team seattle racing?

Team Seattle will be driving 2 brand new Porsche 997's #'s 86 and 87.We know all the drivers quite well. For part of the race I will be a spotter. I will have a golf cart so why don't you let me know where you are and we will find you? Are you coming with a group?

We get to the back straight in the middle of the night which is the best part?

This will be year 3 for me.

Sorry the 86 and 87 had some bad luck. I was rooting for them.

But enough about you . . .
Seems AROSC had 2 connections to the race also:
- Car 5 DP with Rick Knoop, School Guest Instructor, did OK for a while but I see it crashed out with Knoop driving at about 20 hrs.
- Car 06 GT Corvette had club member Dino Crescentini driving. Looks like they did the whole 24 hrs. He piloted a GT3 GTV a few years back.

My eyes are still bleery from watching soo much SpeedTV this weekend.

I went - sorry I missed this thread before the event! Had a great time and got a lot of great pics - I'll post some when I get a chance. Probably not until I get home to Colorado next week though.......
