Watts linkage vs. Sliding block

Does anybody know what componet for a race car would be better, a Watts linkage or a Sliding block? I know they are both suppose to lower the cars center of gravity but i was wondering does anyone have a advantage over the other? Any opinion's?

If you want original over 'modern'?, go Sliding.
If you want easy to install over hard, go Panhard.
If you want easy to maintain over more difficult, go Panhard.
If you want really cool to look at over just OK, go Sliding.
If you want less expensive over very expensive, go panhard.

These are just my opinions. You can go just as fast with the Watts/Panhard but the sliding block is so very, very cool.

I am also having a batch of Panhard rods made (should be ready in a couple weeks) if anyone is interested.
