G or F production SCCA Alfa Spider roller

According to log books this car was extensively raced in FProd on the East coast through 1993 at which point the engine and transmission were removed and it was sent to dry storage here in the midwest.

It is complete, as raced, LESS engine and gearbox. Car has fuel cell and system, fire system, Accusump and huge oil cooler, alloy radiator, locked rear (welded? or posi?). The front suspension has been converted to coilover type and has a very nicely done adjustable sway bar. The rear suspension is a coilover 3 link type that has been done well and also has a modern adjustable bar. Front brakes are the legal disc set up. Cage is solid, meets current spec, and the welds look good. If you are over 5'10" you'll need to remount the seat and if over 6' may want to visit in person and make sure the hoop is high enough before purchasing. All 4 fenders are glass and Dzues on and off (I am making moulds from them to use on my car). Shankle type headers, collector and exhaust are surface rusted but solid and in the trunk.

Tub itself looks pretty solid, and it could be cleaned up and raced as is BUT I would paint, rewire, and do some repair and/or replacement around the "nose" if using for myself. This must have been a pretty serious car at one time with all the mods.

I have a couple of stock ratio 5 speed gearboxes I will throw in but again the car is sold, as is, and less the engine and trans.

The car can run Gprod w/ a 1300 or Fprod w/ a 1600

I need $4,800 for the car including those gorgeous modular 15x6 revolution wheels. I would sell the car for $3800 if I get to keep the wheels.

Curtis is still on AOL. But that car did sell 3 years ago! Now if anyone is REALLY interested, I know that he has at least one other G/F-Production tub he would probably be willing to sell!

Yes sorry, that car went off to Houston, TX. several years ago. That one came with the car I currently race and so I really had no choice to but to buy it, and then get rid of it immediately as I really couldn't justify to my wife the purchase of the one I kept let alone let her know there were two!

However, more than a year ago I had this great idea to build an Fprod twin to my G car or maybe a vintage car and bought Jim Aurthors old Eprod (1600) 101 Guilietta race car, which had not been raced in decades, and brought it home. Unfortuneately, it is still sitting exactly where I parked it in the back corner of the shop and I have not found the time/motivation to work on it. It is/was a very well prepared and sorted vintage suspension car, but with the non-vintage wide flares and more than a little road rash. If anyone wants to talk about this car, which by the way has a fascinating race history since new, feel free to contact me at cwood13@aol.com
