La Carrera Panamericana 2009

Today they had the pre-qualification that sets the "grid" for tomorrow's first day of racing.

I'm going out on a limb here and guessing that the photo of the Berlina wasn't taken at last years event.

That Giulietta Spider deserves an award for "Most Industrial Roll Cage".

Prequalification results here: La Carrera Panamericana 2009

5 Alfas running. Currently highest placed Alfa is the Giulia with Lauber/Stephenson #291 - 18th place overall. Looks like they are in second place in Historica A+ behind Bailey/Wilson in a Volvo 122 likely wrongly classified as A in the results page - should be A+.
